The Envirothon is a high-school event involving teams that compete in five environmental topics: Aquatics, Forestry, Soils, Current Issues, and Wildlife. Here at the District, we hold a series of workshops each Spring to help prepare team members with exam topics. This year’s workshop was held on March 3rd at RIT, and has been followed up with independent research at participating schools. Each team member will receive a certificate of participation, a t-shirt, and the benefit of developing a higher level of environmental awareness.

The Monroe County event this year will be held at Ellison Park on May 13th.  Registration for the competition closed in March. Please contact Karen Ervay at (585)473-2120 x101 with any comments or questions. Click on the link below to view a map of the exam location.
